11.29.04 (9:34 pm)   [edit]
Just want to make a note that on the 1st of Dec I will be deleting my blogs with the pictures on Hendrix and Halloween. This is merely so I can have more storage room in my geocities account. I like to keep my computer/cyberspace VERY organized which is odd if you've seen the rest of my life.

Love ya'll!

Besides if you want to see them just e-mail me!

Stupid ME
11.29.04 (8:41 pm)   [edit]
Ok yeah, I'm pretty stupid! I just looked it on on the white pages online and I found out not only her phone number but where she lives in like two seconds... I could go visit her tomorrow if I wanted... although that's kinda creepy so I think I'll just phone her.

... does this make me a professional stalker?

THE KEWLEST THING
11.29.04 (8:18 pm)   [edit]

Hey Everyone,

Just found out something PRETTY KEWL! Ok I can't remember if I wrote about thsi in adventure "popawheelie" but I ran into this girl that day named Lea I used to go to theatre school with. I honked at her and she waved but didn't see me.

Later on (aka sunday) I was taking al back to the bus terminal and I was staring at an advertisement I had seen MANY times before and thought HEY that kinda looks like lea... The advertisement was for a local show. I thought to myself though that I was making up the connection as I do tend to get immaginative sometimes. HOWEVER then I went home and looked up teh website and there she is mentioning hte theatre school and everything in her bio. I am so excited as we are QUITE good friends but have not spoken for over three years.

I am honestly SO excited. I couldn't find her contact on the site though so I e-mailed the producers and HOPEFULLY they will take pitty on me and not think I am a stalker or crazy fan and give me her e-mail at least. I really really wanted to talk to her even before I knew she was famous! Ask my room mates I checked the university data base because I thought she went here... OMG I AM SO STUPID I SHOULD CHEC THE PHONE BOOK! SHe can't be that famous that she has an unlisted number!

Anyway I'm off to do that now

Our Son
11.29.04 (9:17 am)   [edit]
OH HEY I totally just thought of something I could write about. I could just edit the other post but I believe in keeping these as real as possible with each thought seperate as it comes. So here is the story:

Us girls in this house have a son. First it started out that we kept recieving phone calls from a local highschool telling us about parent teacher interviews and report card pick up. Then a couple of weeks ago we recieved a message from Sam, "our sons", geography teacher. He said that Sam has been late 6 times for class! Then we started recieving phone calls from girls and other people looking for sam. Today when I got out of the shower I got a phone call from the geography teacher again telling me that Sam has been away from class too many times to graduate. Boy Sam is in BIG TROULBE when he comes home! He better make sure he's prepared to be grounded for life!

Another Succesful Egg Dish
11.29.04 (9:07 am)   [edit]
Finally after weeks of torment I have figured out how to BOIL EGGS! It was awsome. This internet website I went to made no sense! It was like "boil the eggs but make sure you don't boil the eggs or they will turn purple". I was wondering how you could boil eggs without boiling them but my mommy sent me the REAL instructions and last night I boiled eggs... made egg salad then put it on a salad to make EGG SALAD SALAD!

Here are the pics:

So... wow nothing exciting has happened. I may watch a movie tonight with a friend if not I'm going to my german movie. It will be awsome! I don't really have anything else to report it's been kind of a slow couple of days.

ENJOY YOURSELVES!

Scrambled Eggs
11.28.04 (8:59 am)   [edit]
Hey Everyone,

Last night you would all be SO proud of me. I made scrambled eggs! They actually looked and tasted like eggs. I possibly used too much milk in them but they were still alright. They needed LOTS more pepper but I don't think everyone has the love of pepper that I do so I added it later to spare Al. I also made a thing of pees. I can't believe EVERYTHING WORKED OUT! WOhooo and I did them almost entirely on my own too. I just asked how many eggs should I include. Apparently it's 3 eggs for every person. Hope you all are having a great weekend and KEEP ON TRUCKN'!

Al is coming today YAY! I looked outside this morning and it's ENTIRELY WHITE! Even the pavement is covered in snow! I am so happy everything looks so pretty.

I slept so long last night. I went to bed fairly early and then slept all day. I have to go in an hour to pick up Al though. Only a couple more weeks of classes left and there's always something to look forward to.

I only have three exams this year and two are in class so I get to go home almost on the first day of exams! I can't wait for Christmas this year I just have a feeling it'll be great. Christmas is really the only holiday I get excited about anymore. I love seeing my family although I guess this year it will only be me immediate family I see.

Long Road Outta Hell
11.25.04 (1:37 pm)   [edit]
So wow the long dismal road of essays are almost finished. I just have to research ONE more and write the introduction for next friday.

Let's recap:
Wednesday: I went grocery/toiletry shopping with Veroinca. We got seperated as the bus drove off with Veronica inside and not me and It almost took us an hour to find eachother again. Once we did we had an eventful day of grocery shopping.

Later ALL of my room mates (except caroline) and I went to a sex party... no not an orgy... basically it's like a tupperware (SP?) party but for sex toys. NO I didn't buy anything but the party was fun all the same. I will put some pictures up from it soon. Probably in the next post now that I think about it. Then I went home and was going to write my essay due the next day but I got tired and went to bed with 56 words written.

Thursday: I woke up at 6 am and wrote my essay. I looked out the window after recieving a message from my mom and realized it was INDEED snowing! It's not too horribly cold out today though. Everyone is complaining it is but I've had worse. Then I finished my essay in two hours slept 1 hour before I had to leave for class and then got ready.

Class was a breeze and I came home and fell asleep. Then I took out the garbage... ok maybe that wasn't so eventful.

OH ALSO I bought posters for my room! I will post picks to them later too!

YAY
11.23.04 (12:48 pm)   [edit]
YAY MY BLOG IS BACK ONLINE!

SO how was my week? Well I sent Friday writing an essay then Sunday, Monday writing an essay. Then Today and tomorrow I have to write my essay tomorrow go grocery shopping and find out some stuff for the penpal program, but then Friday Al is comming and I am so happy!

I so need to go grocery shopping. All I have in my house is canned chilie adn there's only so much of that you can eat before your intestines feel like they are going to explode.

Saturday was so much fun though. Veronica and I baked cookies (mostly her). I love baking things! I wish I could bake all of the time. I actually used the oven I think Kristen almost had a heart attack.

Anyway back to work I go. I will write to you later on if I don't die of exhaustion. Although there is a certain purpose in working and you feel SO GOOD when youa re done!

Poem?
11.17.04 (9:06 am)   [edit]
This wasn't ment to be a poem but I think it kinda came out like one! I was trying to do my homework and just couldn't so I wrote this instead:

Life would be better if:

LIfe would be better if I didn't have to sleep.
Life would be better if I didn't have to eat.
Life would be better if we never had be alone.
Life would be better if I was with my best friends all the time.
Life would be better if essays didn't exist.
Life would be better if I got straight A+.
Life would be better if I could speak fluent German.
Life would be better if all the people I knew were always happy.
Life would be better if I knew my grandparents more before they died.
Life would be better if the world had peace.
Life would be better if you didn't have to worry about freezing.
Life would be better if there was no violence.
Life would be better if nothing ever died.
Life would be better if people were more careful.
Life would be better if people were not rude.
Life would be better if we paid attention to eachother.
Life would be better if all questions were answered.
But then life wouldn't be life and I am thankful for what I have!

Somebody either put me to bed forever or tie me up and force me on my homework!

Ok I'm going to be a good girl now and READ READ READ LIKE THE DICKINS!

What I eat
11.15.04 (1:25 pm)   [edit]
So you guys probably wonder what a university student who can't cook eats. Well the WHOLE first week it was just chef boyardi and Hot dogs... (I am so SICK of both of those!). Now I've graduated to things that take a few steps such as Sidekicks and Kraft dinner. Although I decided if I didn't have vegtables I owuld die. Here is waht I've eaten the past two days:

Sunday:
Salad in a bag with cheese and carrots cut up
a bagel with roast beef, mayonaise and cheese.
Yogart

Monday:
Salad in a bag with cheese and carrots cut up
Penne with ketchup and pepper
Yogart
Cake

Wow that's wonderful eh? SO nutritious! We'll see what I move onto next!

Adventure "OH MY GAWD"
11.14.04 (7:35 pm)   [edit]
Sorry again I didn't write yesterday. I will explain:

So yesterday I went to the movies with 8 of my friends. We went to see the incredables. It was surprisingly REALLY REALLY GOOD! I loved it! I think everyone had a blas too and I enjoy introducing Veronica to my other friends because I love them all so much and when they love eachother too it makes me so happy.

Anyway then I left the movie with my friends from downtown and I went back to their place. We hung out there for awhile and then walked 15 minutes to a party which was totally broken up. They had all gone to a club and two of my friends didn't bring their ID so we had to walk back for 15 minutes to get their ID. We then did not feel like going out so we just stayed at their place and had hot chocolate. They passed out and I watched sex TV. It was about how small boobs are the new in thing (GO ALLIE, JENNA and CANDACE).

Then "the boys" came home. Candace's boyfriend and one of his friends from back home. Beth and I ended up talking to Candace's boyfriend's friend until 3 am. I found out he was born without the teeth beside his front teeth JUST LIKE ME (except "I" teeth got moved over and he just had holes). It was so kewl because I have NEVER met anyone as far along on the evelotionary scale as myself (just kidding).

Then Beth and I went to bed and talked about naughty things until 4 am. I then came home at 4 pm the next day.

Today I went to a Christian thing with my room mate and then came home and did my german homework for a couple of hours as I basically did nothing all weekend but watch movies and party.

Joseph Stalin
11.12.04 (11:21 am)   [edit]

In my opinion Stalin was the greatest leader of all time. Maybe it’s just because I relate to him a little. I mean no I’m not from Russia, although I do like strong tea and potatoes, but I relate to him personality wise. They say Stalin was a paranoid man, and obviously he had every right to be. I mean look, there probably wasn’t a man in Russia who didn’t wanna be in his position, he probably killed Lenin and his Wife and that other guy, Trotsky, plus nameless more. Hell if I killed that many people think of who all would want revenge against me. I understand his logic COMPLETELY! Hell if I wasn’t so paranoid about dying, I would probably stop going to the doctor and dentist too. Also he sent his son to Siberia because he quit the army. People argue against him for this. I, on the other hand, think it was one of the best things he did. It proved that he had no favourites even when it came to his own children and a true communist doesn't favour even a family member! I mean I could go on and on forever about the guy. He got away with three murders and no one can even peg one officially to him. Lenin’s wife was my favourite. It’s speculated he sent her a poisoned birthday cake. Now I can see many problems with this. It’s just darwinian! Who would eat the cake sent by the known enemy of your husband. I mean come on if she couldn’t pick up on the fact that her husband hated Stalin then she had many more problems then one would possibly think! Finally Stalin did the smartest thing of all. Normally as a historian I wouldn’t like this but in Stalin’s case it’s just ingenious. He deleted all records of everything he ever did. The Nazis hell we know who they killed right down to the last letter of their name but the Soviet Union during the war we have no clue what went on behind Stalin’s border. That is truly brilliant of him because most things can’t be traced back to him. Which is always good when you want your name to be protected even after death.

Friday!
11.12.04 (11:09 am)   [edit]
Hey Guys,

My day definately ended better. Devon and I went to the gym which cheered me up because the bike wakes you up. Then I finished my homework and talked to Veronica and one of my room mates for a long while it was fun.

Today I went to german and history 205. They were actually pretty good classes. Then I went downtown to pick up a friend of mine and one of my room mates from highschool. She is staying with us for the weekend. Right now my room mate is showing her around the school (I fell asleep).

Later tonight I should be doing my homework and going downtown to buy groceries... yay.

Thursday
11.11.04 (9:23 am)   [edit]
So today is thursday. I already had a bad morning. Now I'm starting to get a headache. I only have 5 hours of class left before the weekend YAY... although I will be writing essays then. Tonight I have two hours of class and then I'm going to the gym with Devon. This should be good as I have ALOT of homework to do and going to the gym always makes me feel so energized. I have to bring a good CD to work out with though or else it's just not fun. This should be interesting as I think Devon only came to the gym once before but we shall see.

I got my 1/4 term exam mark for History 250 yesterday at 12:01 am (I am such a loser I stayed up jus tto check it). Basically I got 74%... 26/35. I thought I did way better than that but apparently I should be happy my mark is so high as other people are complaining alot. Now all I have to worry about is the 4 essays and one revise I have left...

WOHOO

"You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will live as one" - John Lennon (crap I can't remember which way you spell his and which way you spell the dictators!)

... REMEMBER

Yesterday and Today
11.10.04 (6:28 am)   [edit]
So... I didn't really feel like writing in this thing yesterday as I didn't get home until 7 then I had to make dinner and revise my resume. After that I didn't really feel like writing anymore. So how was yesterday? Well it seemed pretty good! I got lots done at school. I found out I get my mid term exam mark Thursday and I talked with my friends. Then when I came home I took my resume to Tim Hortons and filled out an application.

So today I woke up with a bit of an upset stomache at 9:30 am (after going to bed at 4 am). Then I went to go get my flushot and now it is 11:30 and I think I will have a shower/do my laundry/clean my fish bowl. My stomach is still upset, I cant eat a bite. Hopefully I'm not sick cus then I wasn't supposed to get my flushot... oh well! I love how my nurse didn't know any of the medication I was on and was like "Oh well I'm sure it won't interfere with your shot". Thanks lady...

So what else will I do today? Only time will tell I suppose. All I know is Amanada (The unwanted guest) is out of the house until at LEAST sunday. SHe isn't even LOOKING for a house anymore. Everyone she finds she has an excuse. She better pay us rent!

Anyway I need to take my puffer and catch up on some sleep.

- Cherry Bomb

PS. Apparently eating nothing but different kinds of pasta and drinking water makes you lose weight. When I came to school I was foughly between 175 and 180 (Closer to the 180). I can now officially anounce (since I've been this weight for like a week now) that I am 169 lbs... YAY!

My Jesus Fetish
11.08.04 (5:39 pm)   [edit]

I have a confession to make. I sort of kind of have a bit of a Jesus fetish... well I'm not sure if you even really call it a fetish, but basically the western christian concept of Jesus is HOT to me! Why, well personally I'd like to find that out myself. He has long hair which I've always found attractive but after that it sort of ends. He was a pretty "christian" guy, which is always a good catch... if you're into that sort of thing. My friends say I should seek professional help, but I am still willing to claim this is ein hundert percent normal! I don't really believe in god but I believe Jesus was probably a real person. Whether you believe in the Christian faith or god on a whole or nothing at all you have to admit that Jesus was probably one of the kewlest rebels out there. He fought the power and saw that the fate of man was bigger than himself and really isn't that what any other hero does? I refer you to Che Greuverra. He put the FATE of mankind above himself and died for them (not to mention in vain from what I can see). Plus the story of Jesus has a little something for everyone: Bondage, Love, Faith, Rebellion, Satanism, Christianity, Mystery and Helping people! So why does someone who is pretty much an athiest thing Jesus is hot? The fact is he suffered alot, not for himself, but for someone else, and for some reason that is hot!

Adventure "Popawheelie" has come to an end
11.08.04 (11:23 am)   [edit]
So I went to the concert with Veronica and Jenna. We took Veronica's car and Jenna drove. It was basically Jenna's first time on the HWY and she was QUITE nervious. I thought she did very well though. Veronica was just concerned at how she kept missing the big red lights in the city. We got to the city at fourish and got lost so we drove around until we found a gas station and asked for directions. We then found out we were half an hour out of the way and had to drive back the way we had come. So we did that and eventaully around six we found the place. We parked the car near a REALLY scarey curch and walked around looking for a hemp product and acessories store. We totally forgot were it was and then looked for a Harvey's. We could not find Harvey's either so we went to a Wendy's. We ate dinner and then went to the club to line up. We were totally the youngest people there. An old drunk man behind us invaded our personal space and some woman ahead of me gave me her fashion consultant number. We got into the club (after getting ID'ed twice) and got some free T-Shirts. Then we watched the Hendrix tribute band. They are called "Fire". They were fairly good. The lead singer LOOKED like Hendrix but Mitch and Noel weren't so accurate. The Hendrix guy's pants kept falling down though and he was SO skinny! He didn't know any of the words to the song and just showed off but not in tune so all in all it was good but NOT Hendrix. They also brought out a Gibson Hendrix played. It is the KING of all things I've ever seen! I took so many pics. The band played two sets then we left while Steppin Wolf was on (Magic Carpet Ride). All in all it was an AWSOME evening and we didn't even die in the big city. Then we drove around for an hour looking for ice cream and finally settled on a Fortinos. We bought plastic spoons and Smarties ice cream and fed Jenna ALL the way home. Then we went to bed around 3:30 am and I got up the next day at 10 for german. IT was SO MUCH FUN! I want the pictures back now... alas I haven't even finished the role. (PS this is my entry for last night. I was honestly too tired to write or think!)

All's Fair in Love and War
11.06.04 (6:36 pm)   [edit]

"All's Fair in Love and War", We've all heard the expression yet no one knows who said it. What we do know however is that it's been in existence since at least 1579 on. What does it mean to you? Dictionary.com defines it as, "Any conduct is permissible in certain circumstances". I take this difinition to mean that in love you can do anything to win the one whom you love and in war you can do anything in order to win the war. However, I am going to refute this statement because I feel that war should have STRICT guidlines. In today's society we have strict guidlines on love. One may not marry a close relative, an animal etc.. Well perhaps bestiality is taking it a little far, but if you truly love someone you should be able to get them if it is mutual whether it is your bestfriends husband or that guy in the supermarket. You should be able to do whatever you want in order to get them. In todays society we have rules on what you can and cannot do. Some are overt laws and others are covert social barriers drilled into us from birth. War should be something though that we have guidlines for. When someone surrendors we should accept that and they should not trick us. When we fire our guns and our weapons there should be certain areas and procedures.

Love is powerful and can take lives but war can take many lives and should therefore be controlled more than love. Both take passion but in reality both lack passion. They are a series of decisions made by humans. Think of the results of wooing someone. If you make irrational decisions and act on whims it is unlikey that person will be attracted to you but if you make a logical plan in order to win them over and make an effort to get to know them you will eventually win them over. War is the same thing. Possibly by chance you could win love or war with rash dicisions, however, is it not more likely that you shall win with a logical plan? Perhaps we should take these things into account in the future....

Value Village
11.06.04 (6:25 pm)   [edit]

Today I went to VALUE VILLAGE! I bought a brown sweater and an orange vase. Someone told me the vase was were the 70s went to die however I think it's really kew! It's orange with a gold trim on top and bottom! I can't wait to buy a house to put all of my things in! Plus it was only 1.99. The Brown sweater is nice too. It was from teh mens section shhhh. I have to wash it ALOT though... what if someone who wore it is dead now! ICKY THAT IS SO CREEPY! I hate buying things second hand! They had like a red and black corset in there I SO wanted to buy but again it's underwear that's been on someone CREEPY! I also tried on some jeans but they had a whole in them and a skirt but it was too big for me. It's a kewl place though and I can see why people like it. It smells like old people though!

Tomorrow I'm going to a Jimi Hendrix thing. I'm so skipping the German movie. German movies happen all the time jimi hendrix guitars that I can see that only happens once in awhile! I only wish the man was alive! His music makes me so happy until I remember what a frigging GENIUS HE WAS then I get so depressed at how young he died. NO one can EVER imagine what really would have happened to music if he stayed alive!

Lonley House
11.05.04 (1:08 pm)   [edit]
One of my room mates is gone for the weekend and even though I have four other people living here the house feels so empty and lonley!

I am done yet another week! I can't wait for Xmas to come. It seems like thsi year is going by even faster than the last. My parents always tell me that the older you get the faster time passes.

Well before Xmas I only have to do three essays, an essay proposal, all my german Hausaufgaben and revise an essay I got a bad mark on... think I can do it all by Dec 2and? Well we shall see but things always have a way of working out.

I am so bored tonight you have no idea. I had a hudge nap and now I am awake and ready to party and I have no clue where a single friend of mine is!

Last night a man by the name of John Titor was brought to my attention. If you have not heard of him you should check out the link on the side of the page... he is one FREAKY dude. I believe that time travel is possible but some of his predictions make no logical sense to me but I guess we will find out sooner rather than later since it's all supposed to start this year... whoo happy 2005 the world is going to shit not to mention oil production has probably climaxed this year and will never reach the same level of production that is assuming you believe Hubbert.

Sorry there's a little doom and gloom for you!

Marks
11.04.04 (10:14 am)   [edit]
I am typing to you right now shivering in a blanket. I just finished class. I normally get home at 2:15 however it is now nearing 2:50 and I JUST came home. The bus was VERY late and as what the rain USUALLY does I am wet.

I am however happy. Last week I got an essay back and I had 64% on it. Now i can do it again which I will but 64 is not fun! Today I got an essay back from the same teacher that said 78%. It also had a little comment that said "Why didn't you write your other essay as well as this one?". I guess maybe because I was sick on the first. Personally though I would have given myself a better mark on the first one! I also got a german test back today 73.5 percent! Pretty nice! I love german! This sunday I'm going to a german movie in town. I will let you know how it is!

Unwanted Houseguest
11.03.04 (7:15 pm)   [edit]
So... I'm sure we've all had them an unwanted house guest. Someone slightly anoying whom everstays their welcome. HOWEVER this one has been living with us for one weekk and two days now. She turns on the heat EXTRA high. She mouches off one of my room mates time, she leaves ALL of the lights on AND she steals food from my fridge. She also lies and is taking in innocent people. If she doesn't leave soon I may be forced to go insane!

Well it's also starting to be crunch time again. Two essays, one rewrite a few exams and some other things all do in the next few weeks or so. I can tell you I am NOT looking forward to this business at all. I miss being lazy! Although I can't sit still and do nothing it just kinda makes me feel uneasy now like I should be doing something so instead I procrastinate and do meaningless things that don't help my situation.

I have been listening to a few new CDS. I got Chris Cornell and Dave Narvarro (Ten points of friendship goes to whomever can tell me what bands they are from)............. Cornell was from Soundgarden and is now in Audioslave (He has a thing for compound words) and Dave Navarro is in Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jane's Addiction (also soon to form a new band but I forget the name). Anyway these CDS rock... I really don't know what my taste in music is. If someone could tell me I'd love to know! MY favourite CDs currently are Mark Lanegan, Chris Cornell and Dave Navarro... what does that mean? Sorry I think music is an important window into ones soul but I can never read it properly! My music taste really makes no sense! The top bands I love have no correclation such as Jimi Hendrix, The Wings and Tom Petty.

Ok maybe I should go to bed because I think now I am just rambling. If you could see how fast I am typing you would know I am barely even thinking just typing. Anyway nothing too exciting on the midst but I will keep you UP TO DATE hehehe.

LOVE YOU ALL

Well today I was supposed to write two tests. One was an exam and one vocabulary test. The teacher lost the vocab test so I just had to take the exam. I think it went fairly well. Everyone worked together and I think for the most part we came up with the right answers.

Other than that today was a mostly rainy but nice day. My room mate Kristen made me dinner when I got home it was so sweet. Tomorrow is my day off. I think I will sleep in do some laundry and clean my fish tank AGAIN! It's SO dirty. Wow this is probably boring to you.

Bush is winning so far. Apparently the night is young. I've been calling it for like three years now that Bush will win again but I hope I'm proven WRONG! I just have one question... New York is the only state directly affected by terrorism yet they aren't voting Bush... Hmmm guess their not afraid.

Love ya lots and see you all tomorrow!

HEY!

Wow I haven't written in this thing since before school started! First I lost the link and then I just got too busy to write.

So let's recap. This year I am in Mideaval History, History of 20th Century: Globalization, History of Theatre, Theatre in the 20th Century and German 105. SO far I LOVE all of my classes. German is still my absolute favourite! I've written two essays and taken countless tests. Tomorrwo I have my first 1/4 exam for history 250 (globalization).

I bought a fish. His name is Jimi Jezebelle. I will post a pick of him later. He is a siamese fighting fish and MANY different colours!

I have been home twice since school started (thanksgiving and reading break) and my dad came up to visit me one weekend!

Last night was Halloween! I went to a local bar and saw a death metal band. It was pretty good! There were several other metal bands some thrash some death. It was lots of fun as all of my friends were there. I was dressed up as a vampire.

Well I guess you guys are all caught up for now! I'll keep typing to you!
